power crazy

First rumblings of discontent. I didn’t see the storm clouds, Shrouded in the depth of the night. Charged by the heat of the day.
A flash awakens my senses. Awe struck, stood to attention, I leave comfort and shelter, Seeking danger again.
Barefoot I tread the coarse ground. Hardly wetted by rain, Yet the storm has been sulking For a long while.
It spits lightning like a cat gone feral. And slowly the rain soaks through My cotton shirt, light summer trousers. I welcome the chill it brings.

3 AMThe days of my revolution. I danced in the moonlight, without their permission. Tapped my beat on blackened roads.
Their alarm, ignored.
And to the brilliant moon, a soundtrack. The lusty guitar screams in pain. A lonely sound, a piercing echo, The scream without words.
They chase, I run.
And this wild thing, this animal. Turns the corner shrieking discontent. Their bold and garish grins, dissolve the shadows.

Hey all, been a bit quiet with my writing,

This is mostly because I've not had a great deal of personal space, which tends to stifle my writing somewhat, but you might be seeing a bit more from me as the boyfriend is going to be working now, which is good, but I will miss him around the house.

In other news, my little one who is two in February has started counting, she was sat in the hall earlier while I was making lunch and she counted to six and then started again

woop woop! so proud of her.
